The first of our summer teams are heading for Kosova and South Africa on the 6th and 22nd June for one and three weeks, respectively. To that end we spent a day with them on Saturday 31 May to help them get up to speed with what to expect so that they are prepared for their project.

The two teams leave before the bulk of our summer teams who will receive their own orientation at the Cefn Lea Conference Centre in Wales 4-6 July, so this was a special orientation event held specifically for the TLC1 and Kosova teams. Meeting in Manchester, the teams had a packed day attending various sessions that were designed to help them to understand the expectations and cultural issues that they should be aware of as they head out to support the work of the project partners in SA and Kosova.
