Level 2 Course in Health and Safety at Work
Health and Safety at work deals, as its title suggests, with the safety of people in their work place. Many areas of the course are based on the HCCAP analysis which organisations are required to carry out for their premises.

This fits alongside the Health and Safety policy, which church organisations are expected to have and ensures that those using premises are aware of the hazards and can risk assess their activities.

What Does it Cost?
The cost is £25 per person for either course, which includes the course materials and examination. A contribution towards the tutor’s travelling expenses is appreciated.

Level 2 Course in Food Safety
Food Safety in Catering has replaced the Foundation Certificate in Food Hygiene and is required to be held by all those who are involved in the preparation, serving and selling of food in both paid and voluntary capacities.

Who Needs This?
Many youth and church organisations need to ensure that those working for them have a valid certificate and this 6-hour course and external examination can be held at a suitable venue to serve a group of organisations.
